Opera by Disguise makes wedding bells ring!
Opera by Disguise were honoured to take part in Nancy & Peter’s big day performing their world class surprise show to the delight of the bride and groom’s special guests.
Held in the Crystal ballroom at Luna Park, the unsuspecting guests were treated to a special welcome by the venue’s “manager”, our very own David Malek in disguise, and his reluctant but talented “assistant manager”, star soprano Fiona Benjamin. Not to be left out of the action the “photographer’s assistant”, musical theatre star Dean McRae, also got in on the action introducing some home grown tunes such as “Waltzing Matilda” to the mix of opera and contemporary classics.
Once the surprise had been sprung, the trio came together performing a beautiful show of much loved classics garnering rave reviews and raucous applause.
