The Star celebrates with Rat Pack’s Back, Miss Bird Sings & The Players Band
It was a Hollywood themed affair for The Star as they pulled out all the stops to celebrate The Sovereign Room’s 6th Birthday with a star studded night of nights!
MC’d by none other than Channel Nine’s Richard Wilkins, The Star invited SMA Productions’ hit show The Rat Pack’s Back, newcomer Miss Bird Sings and The Players band to help them celebrate.
Guests were swinging and singing to The Rat Pack’s Back who stormed through the Frankie, Dean & Sammy song book with hit after hit backed expertly by 11piece live band ‘The Players’. A lucky lady was chosen to have a dance with one of our cheeky cast, while one of the fellas joined the guys on stage to have a sing during ‘My Way’ with rousing support from fellow guests.
Later in the evening new show Miss Bird Sings, featuring rising star Toni Bird took to the stage in true Hollywood siren style serenading guests with sophisticated tunes such as At Last, Route 66, LOVE and Fever. Looking gorgeous in head to toe sequins and oozing glamour and class the audience were entirely captivated from first song to last note!
