Shoalhaven
Continuing to appear in concert in 2009, the cast of Rhythm Untapped recently joined with one of the hottest quartets in town (featuring leading Sydney musicians) in a first for Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre. Audiences enjoyed a stellar performance by stars, Christopher Horsey – winner of the ‘Fred Astaire International Tap And Jazz Championship’ (Waldorf Astoria, NYC) and a founding member of ‘Tap Dogs’; Mandy Carnie – of ‘A Chorus Line’, ‘Grease’, and ‘Sweet Charity’ – and Drew Anthony, the choreographer / director / performer from such hits as ‘Happy Feet’, the West End musical ‘Jailhouse Rock’, ‘Hot Shoe Shuffle’ and ‘Singin’ in the Rain’.
As always, the thrilled audience clapped along with the boys drum/tap jamming and tune after tune as the trio harmonised and tapped frenziedly in the full two-act concert.
“The crowd were absolutely spellbound, into it from start to finish. The tap was awesome, the vocals world-class and the band red hot!”
Ashley Priest, Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre
